Where is Poppins located?

Poppins is located in the leafy village of Denham in South Buckinghamshire. We’re close to Uxbridge and links from the A40 and M25.

What is the criteria for accessing Poppins?

Our Day Hub is designed for adults aged 18 and over, who have Learning Disabilities and/or other complex needs. All perspective clients are invited to visit Poppins for an assessment and to see our facilities and what we offer. Everything can be discussed with our team.

How is this service funded?

Most of our clients have funding through the local authority, but funding can come from a number of sources, including private funds. Funding is decided on a case by case basis, and can be discussed with our team.

What if I choose an activity but I want to change?

Clients are given the option to change activities at any point during the year, subject to availability.

Can I increase the amount of sessions I attend per week?

Yes. Many service users start by coming to Poppins for a day to see if it’s the right fit for them and then join us for more if it is. Its entirely up to you how often you come but we do ask that you sign a contract so we can plan and allocate our resources in advance.
